Student Loans, Student Grants and the Differences Between:
Student loans are granted different lending institutions and some of which will be backed by government funding, whereas most grants are issued by government branches. There are also some grants that are offered either by school departments or private businesses or organizations so you have to do a little searching for these.
College and higher education beyond the public school systems can be very expensive. In many cases, parents and/or students need some form of financial assistance to help them pay for tuition, books and other costs. Scholarships will cover all or part of their cost, but the students that don’t receive one of the limited numbers of scholarships available still deserve a chance to go to the school of their choice.
