Teaching Children about Debt
A friend of mine got into a real mess a few years back. She racked up several thousand dollars in credit card debt and ended up in Christian financial counseling to get it all straightened out. Now, she’s terrified that her children will make the same mistakes after being raised in a household that was so bad with money. I recently sent her the article, “Teach the Next Generation to Stay Out of Debt.” The title seemed appropriate and the information was invaluable to her. She has already begun teaching her children the importance of proper money management and savings. I’m so proud of her.
