St. Valentine Roses
All over the world, each February, young lovers celebrate Valentines Day with laughter, roses, and promises of undying love. The holiday knows no barriers and whether 10 or 100 years old, romantics love the words “Will you be my Valentine.” .
In ancient Rome and even in pre-Christian times, with the coming of spring many diverse cultures held some type of “fertility” festival. Much later this festival became enshired on the date of Feb 14th in honor of St. Valentine who is said to have signed a letter to his beloved as “from your Valentine.” on his death bed.
