Real Life Haunted Houses
I’ll never forget when I was a little kid how fun and exciting it was going to haunted houses during Halloween. But at the same time I could remember how haunted houses scared the living hell out of me… literally!
All of the fifty states have real life haunted houses. In New Mexico, north of Santa Fe, at the foot of Black Mesa, is an old hacienda that housed the government of the Spanish governor, a merciless man who readily hanged criminals on the hacienda grounds. Ghosts have been seen there during Halloween, the ghosts of the governor’s wife, who died on the staircase.
