Swimming Pool Robots

When you have a swimming pool, pool cleaning is one of the dreary tasks that have to be done if you want your pool to remain in tip top condition. If you tend to be on the lazy side, you may want to try one of the new so called robotic swimming pool cleaners.

These have smart computer chips embedded in them. You place the cleaner on the bottom of the pool. As it bumps into the sides of the pool, the smart sensors inside of the cleaner begins to map the area limits of the pool and proceeds to do its work until it has vacuumed the entire pool.

Much like the similar models used for home carpeting, however, these robots only do a halfway decent job of cleaning. Undoubtedly they will perform better in the future as the technology is improved.
