Do USDA Certified Skin Care Products Contain Hormones?

What is it about USDA certified skin care products that make them superior to others? Should you use organic skin care products, and why? If you use organic skin care products, which ones should you use? There are so many skin care products out there that are claiming to be organic, how do you make the distinction and have the peace of mind of knowing for sure that you are using skin care products on your face that do not contain chemicals or hormones? There is so much confusion in labeling and advertising, how are you supposed to be able to wade through all of that and be able to protect your kids from these harsh chemical skin care products? Good news, there are ways you can know for sure that you are using truly organic skin care products. It’s all in the labeling. When you are holding your erstwhile organic skin care product in your hand, read the label. Does it say “certified organic” anywhere on the label? If it does not, it is not really organic. To be labeled “certified organic”, a skin care product, be it lotion, body wash or mascara, has to pass a tough test administered by the USDA. Certified organic skin care products must be made of at least 95% organic ingredients, and the remaining 5% of the ingredients making up the organic skin care products must come from readily and easily recognizable natural sources.
