Are Chest Dips Effective
Not only are chest dips one of the most effective all around upper body exercises, but they are absolutely wonderful for building that muscular round chest that most guys want to get. While it’s truth that there is a price to pay if you want to build an amazing muscular body, the truth of the matter is that choosing the right exercise for your workouts is half of the battle. I absolutely love chest dips when it comes to their ability to stimulate muscle growth in your chest. They are functional and effective and they challenge your chest muscles more than they have ever been challenged before – especially if you perform your chest dips with weights. I typically like to start out by performing 3 sets of 8 – 10 repetitions with a weight that’s challenging, yet comfortable during the exercise. When you first start out with chest dips, you really don’t want to push the limit too much by using weights that are too heavy for your body, that’s how you wind up injuring yourself.
