Having a home swimming pool in hot, sticky weather is great for hosting parties for your kids and their friends. What can make the event even more fun is having some of the swimming pool games available for those who want to play.

There are many such games, but one in particular is the popular pool volleyball game set for under $150. This is a great sport and one you can play with from 2 to (depending on the size of your pool) 12 people.

Another popular choice is pool basketball. Again, this is not very expensive and can be purchased from many of the same outlets that sell the volleyball sets. In fact, some companies sell combination volleyball/basketball portable gaming equipment that can be used for either sport depending on how you want to set it up.
