Technology never stands still… the next invention is always around the corner. But today the future has arrived. The first shop in the UK has started selling the first 3D TV, the 40-inch Samsung UE40C7000!

The spectacular Samsung can handle the masses of new 3D content which is just about to be created! At the moment, there’s hardly any 3D content to watch, but Sky have already tested live 3D Premiership football, the BBC have tested Rugby and the upcoming World Cup is going to be filmed in 3D. If your not into sport, there are Blu-Ray 3D players coming out soon which will be able to handle 3D content, so when movies arrive in 3D you’ll be able to enjoy them at home. Finally, the Sony Playstation 3 will get a firmware update allowing it to handle 3D games!

So, as the new 3dTV’s arrive hand-in-hand with the new content, it’s an exciting time. The third dimension has arrived in UK homes, courtesy of the Samsung UE40C7000 3DTV!
